- Risks of accidents from falling. Unsafe conditions and behaviors. Risk assessment. Permissible weather conditions for work at heights
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Employee Protection
- Special Equipment: Correct use of safety belts. Ropes and basic knots. Lanyards and shock absorbers. Equipment selection
- Fall management and suspension trauma
- Equipment: Specifications, Standards, Construction Materials, Strengths. Checks - Inspection. Maintenance and storage
- Life Lines and anchorage systems
- Safe use of portable ladders and work on permanent ladders
- Control and safe work on scaffolding
- Powered personnel lifting equipment (cable cars, work platforms)
- Management and insurance of work equipment (tools) in work at height
- Worker rescue procedures
